The Hachibi, Eight-Tails

Post by Admin on Tue Oct 17, 2017 5:07 pm

Dormant State This is the symbiotic relationship between the Jinchuuriki and their Bijuu and its simplest form. In many cases, users may go on not even knowing the power they possess inside of themselves. Despite this, the user's chakra supply is increased by an immense amount. However, even though the Bijuu's chakra rests deep inside their vessel, the actual understanding and ability to use it is limited in this form.

Chakra supply is increased to x8 that of a normal shinobi.

Perfect Host After reaching the rank of Jounin, the Jinchuuriki is capable of utilizing the Hachibi to disrupt his or her chakra flow in order to end the affects of Genjutsu, regardless of rank. The Jinchuuriki is also capable of faintly feeling the presence of other chakra signature within a fifty meter radius; this allows the user to recognize when they are, or are not, alone. This does not allow them to “track” the signature, however. They’re simply aware that it’s there, and have a rough idea of where it’s coming from. Furthermore, the user is capable of using Mid-cost chakra per turn to steadily and freely manipulate ink already present on the battlefield (though he or she cannot create or expand the the ink).

In addition, as a Perfect Host, the user may dramatically increase the size of a single appendage ([up to a maximum of ten times its original size] per turn) for a increment of one Low worth of chakra; they may also opt to use this increment to create one of the Hachibi's eight tails, eventually creating all eight. However, for a single increment of one High worth of chakra, the user can immediately spawn all eight tails simultaneously. The durability of this augmented flesh is quite severe, and can withstand most empowered attacks comparable to the Form 2 of other standard bijuu. This "partial transformation" can be done exponentially, with the only limitation being the user's chakra.

Form 1 This transformation centers around the Jinchuuriki surrounding themselves with a fiery orange coat of chakra. This occurs when the Jinchuuriki begins to tap into a direct supply of volatile chakra that the Bijuu provides its user; it is incredibly dangerous in the sense that this chakra is as alluring as it is addicting, which can lead to the Bijuu overwhelming the user. This form grants the user increased feats of strength, speed and reflexes on par with the 4th gate. Entering this state also gives the Jinchuuriki access to the Hachibi's malleable ink, allowing him or her to perform unique jutsu specific to this caste.
Without proper training, Form 1 lasts for a total of three turns and is the equivalent of using two High-cost jutsus. At the end of three turns, the Jinchuuriki has no choice but to progress into form two, as he or she loses control.

Perfect Host After attaining the rank of Jounin, Form 1 lasts a total of four turns and is the equivalent of using two High-cost jutsus. However, at the end of four turns, the Jinchuuriki may choose to end the transformation, extend it an additional four turns, or progress into form two. Extending or transforming further equates to the usage of a Massive-cost jutsu, and after doing so, the Jinchuuriki can no longer utilize the Bijuu for the remainder of combat.

Form 2 Considered a full transformation, form two occurs when the Jinchuuriki takes on the more animalistic characteristics of their Bijuu. In this form, the Jinchuuriki gains access to the Tailed Beast Ball. The tailed beast ball is a condensed sphere of the Hachibi's raw energy. This can be formed at the cost of x3 High, yielding truly devastating results for any and all caught in its path.

Untrained shinobi are capable of sustaining this form for a total of two turns, and is comparable to using the 4th gate in respect to both strength and speed. Upon entering form two, the Jinchuuriki cannot shut it off as his or her own chakra is overwhelmed by the eight-tails. As the chakra floods the user's body, additional tails will form; at eight tails, the Bijuu's chakra completely consumes the user and the Jinchuuriki is rendered unconscious. In this form, the Jinchuuriki is limited to simple ink manipulation (not jutsu, but active manipulation of existing ink and the creation of ink expelled from their gut), manipulating the coat of chakra, and the Tailed Beast Ball.

Perfect Host As a perfect host, Form 2 lasts a total of three turns and as now comparable to using the 5th gate in terms of strength and speed. Form two no longer renders the Jinchuuriki unconscious, but consumes a Massive cost. After utilizing this form (assuming it was not entered after three turns of form one), the Jinchuuriki can revert back to form one or his or her normal form. Furthermore, the Jinchuuriki may create extensions of the Hachibi's chakra freely for combat (for example, tails or limbs).

Eight-Tails Form The final and most powerful transformation that the Jinchuuriki may undergo. This occurs when the individual is able to tap into the full and natural form of the Hachibi by reaching an unparalleled state of symbiosis with the beast. Rather than utilizing Form 2, the individual can opt to use a four turn duration to take on the full scale and appearance of the Hachibi's natural form. The Jinchuuriki gains substantial strength, well beyond most massive summons and other Bijuu. Its speed, however, is somewhat slower than your other massive creatures. It also gains a much larger and far more destructive version of the Tailed beast Ball (x3 High cost). This form costs 2 x Massive to form.

It should be noted that Hachibi is unique in its transformation durations, in the fact that the maximum amount of turns these forms can be used is 8 (if only perfect host Form 1 is used) or 7 (if Form 1, Form 2 perfect host, or Bijuu Form is used).

Clarification
This post is to clarify some things about the previous post concerning the forms and their differences.
1. The major difference between non-perfect host and perfect host is that the perfect host Jinchuuriki does not lose consciousness during or after transformations, and that they have a choice in furthering the transformation or ceasing it. The perfect host is in full control of both their mind and body, and the Bijuu inside of them, as well.

2. Transformation duration stack; they are not linear. This means that if a non-perfect host spends three turns in form one, and then transgresses to form two for two turns, they have reached their five turn limit and thus lose access to their Bijuu for the remaining duration of combat (being as they'll be unconscious after that, it doesn't matter).

With that said, as it was noted in the aforementioned post, the total amount of turns these forms may be used is six (only achievable via perfect host form one).

3. There is a significant difference in the appearances of the forms.
3.1 For both a non-perfect host and perfect host, "form one" is the traditional "Bijuu Cloak" that we've seen Naruto and Killer Bee use on multiple occasions.

3.2 For both the non-perfect host and perfect host, form two is the more animalistic form we've seen Naruto take on when the Kyuubi has assumed control over his body (see image). For those untrained in controlling the beasts inside of them, this form renders all rational thought useless.

3.3 No, there are no "tail-progression" forms. That is flare you, the player, can decide to add or not. If you want to write out your cloak gaining its tails the more you use it, feel free (you're also allowed to downplay the power you may have in order to better facilitate your story).
4. The protective layer of chakra coating the Jinchuuriki's body during their form two alternates with each Bijuu, scaling with their power. The Hachibi's 'armor' is considered one of the strongest, capable of withstanding absolutely fatal attacks with moderate hindrance to its Jinchuuriki (for reference, a user wearing their bijuu cloak would be able to survive a direct hit from Kirin, albeit relatively damaged), while making them all but impervious to standard physical assaults (slashes, stabs, blunt force).
