Character Attrubites

Post by Admin on Sun Apr 09, 2017 9:45 pm

The common currency known as ryō for all sorts of matters, we're using a second numerical value to upgrade your character..

Ryō are received through the following methods:

Starting a roleplay thread gives you 25 ryō

Posting in a roleplay thread gives you 10 to 20 ryō based on the danger level of the area

Doing missions rewards you about 50 to 500 based on the danger level of the mission

Participating in events gives you an amount based on how much you did during the event

Promoting the forum through advertising on active roleplay forums gives you 50 ryō per 10 advertisements posted

Promoting the forum through affiliating with active roleplay forums gives you 50 ryō per affiliation

Ryō can be used for the following things:

Upgrade the level of one of your specializations

Upgrade the level of one of your nature transformations

Upgrade the level of one of your statistics

Purchasing the rights to train a jutsu

Purchasing miscellaneous upgrades for your character from the Black Market

Upgrading Specializations: By upgrading your Specializations, you will be allowed to create techniques of higher levels. Upon starting all your chosen Specializations are set at D, which means that you are only allowed to create D-rank jutsus for those Specializations. Do note that your Nature Transformation levels must be compatible as well if you wish to involve them in your jutsus. This means that if you wish to create an Earth Wall Jutsu that is C-rank, you would need C in Ninjutsu as it requires Ninjutsu to perform the jutsu, and C in Earth as it requires a certain proficiency to mold earth like that.

D to C costs 250 ryō

C to B costs 500 ryō

B to A costs 1000 ryō

A to S costs 2500 ryō

Upgrading Nature Transformations: By upgrading your Nature Transformations, you will be allowed to create techniques of higher levels. Upon starting all your chosen Nature Transformations are set at D, which means that you are only allowed to create D-rank jutsus for those Nature Transformations. By upgrading your Nature Transformations you may create stronger jutsus involving these elements. Do note that your Specialization levels must be compatible as well if you wish to use your element for a certain Specialization. This means that if you can produce up to B-rank Fire, you still need to be able to create B-rank Ninjutsu to actually create a jutsu with these level of flames.

D to C costs 250 ryō

C to B costs 500 ryō

B to A costs 1000 ryō

A to S costs 2500 ryō

Upgrading Statistics: Upon creating your character you get to allocate a certain amount of points to decide how your character starts off on his journey. These are not the final settings though. You can still get faster, more durable and stronger by upgrading your statistics.

No skill to Basic costs 250 points
Basic to Above costs 500 points
Above to Supeior costs 1000 points
Superior  to Adpet costs 1500 points
Adept to Advance costs 2500 points
Advance to Elite costs 5000 points
Elite to Master costs 7500 points
Master to Legendary  costs 10,000 points

Purchasing Jutsus: The amount of jutsus you can learn is based on your Intelligence level. This only determines the amount of slots you can unlock though which means that the available slots are still locked. To actually unlock a slot you need to purchase the rights to start training for a jutsu.

Learning a D-rank jutsu costs 250 points
Learning a C-rank jutsu costs 500 points
Learning a B-rank jutsu costs 1000 points
Learning a A-rank jutsu costs 2000 points
Learning a S-rank jutsu costs 3000 points

In the previous thread you have learned that points can be used to upgrade Specializations, Nature Transformation and Statistics. Below we will explain what it means to upgrade a statistic and of course what all the Specializations and Nature Transformations can do.

Strength: This determines the physical strength of your character.

Below: Any strike from this character is likely to be shrugged off barely as contact to even the average person.
Low:  Any strike from this character will likely be ineffective against all but the frailest opponent.
Weak:  The character throws punches and kicks with less force than the average Joe.
Average: Any strike from the character is roughly on part with the human average and will cause them considerable damage.
Adept: Character is quite a bit stronger than average, and comparable to a human who engage in rigorous but not constant physical exercise. A strike from this character has a high likelihood of winding the average person.
Supeior: Character is much stronger than average, through constant training. A strike from this character is sure to knock out the average person straight away or break bones.
Advance: Character has fought against many opponents and trough constant battle has become a much more fit individual. This character possesses enough strength to produce moderate trauma to the body along with broken bones while knocking down a person.
Elite: Character has absolute perfection of his muscles and his physical power allows the character to easily lift about 3 times his weight on both hands and bend steel bars with his bare hands or punch someone trough a concrete wall, with moderate effort.
Legendary: Character has reached the plateau of physical strength that borders the average humans from the superhuman, shown by their ability to easily lift a average human being effortlessly with a single hand. A strike from this character will cause severe, if not fatal trauma to the average person along with severe bone damage.
Divine: Character is now a god of strength; his physical power is enough to collapse mountain sides and lift almost any known amount weight with the proper leverage and motivation, if this character jumps, he can do so into low orbit and has sufficient strength to destroy almost any sort of physical barrier.

Speed: This determines the movement speed of your character.

Below: Character can move on their feet, but are slow and cannot run. (7 m/s running at top speed and max. 1x Shunshin no Jutsu per thread)
Low: Character an move on their feet and run, though the running drains the person stamina and tires them out. (10 m/s running at top speed and max. 1x Shunshin no Jutsu per thread)
Slow: Character can move on their feet and run, but they are slower that average person, and it is very paltry and pathetic. (13 m/s running at top speed and max. 2x Shunshin no Jutsu per thread)
Average: Character possess an average amount of speed. Their speed allows them to run comfortable at a mediocre pace without difficulties and the limit of their stamina. (16 m/s running at top speed and max. 2x Shunshin no Jutsu per thread)
adept Character is quick. They are able to run comfortably at a fast pace without difficulties and the limit of their stamina. (20 m/s running at top speed and max. 3x Shunshin no Jutsu per thread)
Supeior: Character has better speed. They are able to run long distances at a moderate speed without difficulties and the limit of their stamina. (24 m/s running at top speed and max. 3x Shunshin no Jutsu per thread)
Advance: Character has great speed. They are able to run long distances at high speeds without difficulties and the limit of their stamina. (28 m/s running at top speed and max. 4x Shunshin no Jutsu per thread)
Elite: Character has near inhuman speed. Their speed allows them to fight and move extremely fast making it difficult for others to face them as they are nearing perfection. (34 m/s running at top speed and max. 5x Shunshin no Jutsu per thread)
Legendary: Character has a speed that is considered inhuman. Their speed allows them to fight and move extremely fast making it difficult for others to face them as they are considered perfect by human standards. (40 m/s running at top speed and max. 7x Shunshin no Jutsu per thread)
Divine: Character is capable of moving so fast they are able to move on any surface including water without faltering or slowing down. They are now capable of creating sonic booms which can push people close to them backwards. (50 m/s running at top speed and max. 10x Shunshin no Jutsu per thread)

Dexterity: This determines how fast your character is with their fingers and the amount of jutsus they can perform within a single post based on their handseal speed.

Below: Character can use up to 1 Jutsu in a single post. They are considerably slow when performing their handseals as they are focusing on not messing up their string of seals.
Low: Character can still only use up to 1 Jutsu in a single post. They have become more accustomed to the handseals but are not confident enough to do it without focusing on their hands. Characters still need to pay quite a lot of attention to their seals.
Unskilled: Character can now use up to 2 Jutsus in a single post. They have bettered themselves and can now use their handseals a bit more confidently allowing them to use 2 rather than 1 Jutsu in a single post.
Average: Character can still only use up to 2 Jutsus in a single post. Even though they can still do the same as at the previous level, they are now considered average in performing handseals.
Adept: Character can now use up to 3 Jutsus in a single post. They are considered great in dexterity. Being able to use 3 Jutsus in a short amount of time is a sign of above average dexterity.
Supeior: Character can still only use up to 3 Jutsus in a single post. They have improved quite a bit but they are still not ready to break through to the next peak.
Advanced: Character can now use up to 4 Jutsus in a single post. Very few shinobi reach a point at which they can perform this many jutsus in a short amount of time. As long as the character can provide the chakra, they are considered deadly tools.
Elite: Character can still only use up to 4 Jutsus in a single post. While their dexterity might have improved they are still not good enough to perform at such speeds that allow the user to perform more in a single post.
Legendary: Character can use up to 5 Jutsus in a single post. They are incredibly fast and can use this to their advantage to overwhelm their opponents. Shinobi with such great dexterity often suffer from the toll it takes on their chakra reserves when using these barrages.
Divine: Character can use up to 6 Jutsus in a single post. When moving their fingers it appears as a blur that is impossible to register without a great Doujutsu technique. When only using a single jutsu the character's hands seem not to move at all, only as if they just moved them a centimeter or two while in reality the user already perform their string of seals.

Endurance: This determines how much damage your character can endure before they are considered either passed out (10%) or dead (0%).

Below: Character tires with minimal exertion and is much more prone to being injured by attacks than the average person, even the slightest damage with cause them severe pain. See made of glass.
Low: Character is very out of shape and gets winded easily, and is significantly less resistant to damage than the average person.
Weak: Character is somewhat out of shape, and slightly less resistant to attacks than the average person.
Average: Character is a completely average human being who regulates his weight and does little exercise, lives a healthy live.
Adept: Above average and has the physical figure of an athlete. Character can handle somewhat more exertion than the average person, and is less easily hurt.
Supeior: Character is capable of running a marathon, enduring harsh climate much easier than the average human, as character is able to handle constant strenuous exertion much better than average while producing less fatigue poison. Character is also much more resistant to damage than the average human as attacks by a normal person are laughably ineffective.
Advance: Character only gets tickled when he is attacked by the average men unless they use weapons and can engage is rigorous physical regiments that would rip the muscles, and basically leave lesser man on the floor while the character just stands and walk away while removing his sweat with a towel
Elite: Character can easily engage on severe stamina exertion and still come out top and fresh even if were several hours and barely registers physical attacks from average humans as contact
Legendary: Character can easily endure even the harshest condition without even noting them as even scorching heat that would burn off the flesh of an average human being in an instant just gives them a sunburn and engage on stamina contest that last for days and come out smelling fresh as daisies while easily endure projectiles like they are mosquitoes flying of his skin or take a sledge hammer to the face and not even blink
Divine: It's even doubtful this character retains a concept of death and has passed into the plane of true immortality, conceptual existence that no longer requires anything but just being there. This character can engage in non-stop strenuous activity for a month without even sweating. Shrugs of almost everything but a direct hit from the magnitude of S-rank jutsus.

Intelligence: This determines the intelligence of your character and basically allows you to learn more jutsus.
